A visit to Bird Paradise reminded me that tourism becomes powerful when nature is supported by thoughtful design and intentional investment.
The experience went beyond seeing beautiful birds. It created a space to connect with nature, learn, explore and simply breathe. It was peaceful, beautifully curated and genuinely soothing.
My biggest takeaway? Nigeria does not lack natural beauty. We have wildlife, landscapes, culture and stories that can become world-class tourism experiences.
The opportunity is to build stronger systems around what we already have—preservation, infrastructure, innovation and experiences that attract people and create value.
Global exposure should never end with admiration. It should return home as action.
